But for older people who have trouble with the small screen and tiny controls of a smartphone or even a more traditional camera, a tablet presents a nice big screen and interface that makes taking photos much easier.<\/p>\n

The screen size is also an advantage in one distinct sense for everyone: The bigger screen means you can more easily compose your shots, because you don\u2019t need to squint down to a three-inch screen and try to mentally imagine it as a larger piece of canvas art.<\/p>\n

Using a tablet as a camera can be an adjustment. While almost every tablet comes with a camera built-in, the cameras are often of lesser quality than those in smartphones. There\u2019s also a lot less choice in the tablet world; unlike phones, which sports a thousand brands and models to choose from, the tablet world is clearly dominated by the iPad, with a few dozen outliers of dubious pedigree competing against it.
